We can even create a shopping list automatically in HTML format! We can then export those diagrams to use on the web or in Word / Powerpoint etc. With Fritzing we can design circuits on breadboards, protoboards and circuit boards.

It is a powerful tool, yet it is accessible to all thanks to an interface that works in a similar manner to Adobe Illustrator / Inkscape.

But not installing it via our repository and if something goes wrong, breaking my system, I realize that I then do not receive any help from our Forum so here my questions:ġ.Did something went wrong during a recent update?Ģ.

Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Fritzing but with the same result.Īt last I asked the Fritzing Forum for advise:Īnd did what they gave as advise but with no result.Īs last advise this Forum member suggested to download and install the Fritzing bz2 file and install Fritzing on a separate directory and running the program from there. Also updated my system by running synaptic. This, because in the past period I only was busy manipulating/moving the already installed components on the pcb and not needing a new one.Īt first I thought I had done something stupid and stopped the program, rebooted my system and started Fritzing again but the problem remained. I still can drag and drop it onto my pcb and use it but I never have faced this "forbidden" sign phenomenon before. When working on a pcb and adding a component to it by selecting the one I want and drag and drop it onto the pcb, selecting and clicking on it in the "core parts" with the mouse, a "forbidden" sign (red circle with diagonal line) pops-up. Working with the latest version 0.9.3 (thanks again MBantz ), I am suddenly facing a strange problem with the Fritzing program.
